Role Overview

We are looking for a Flutter Developer with a strong background in mobile development to  work on existing flagship Khaya mobile applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate with Khaya AI Team to build and maintain high-quality Android and iOS applications with responsive interfaces, seamless performance, and modern design. You will be involved throughout the entire app development lifecycle, from design and implementation to deployment and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy Flutter-based Android and iOS applications.

• Build UIs that align with designs and deliver smooth user experiences.

• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party SDKs.

• Integrate Khaya’s APIs and models, and cloud services into mobile apps.

• Optimize performance and ensure responsiveness across all device types.

• Maintain clean, modular, and well-structured code with best practices.

• Write unit and integration tests to ensure app reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience developing Flutter apps for Android and iOS.

• Strong proficiency in Dart, Flutter, and core Android development principles.

• Skilled in API integration and handling JSON data effectively.

• Good understanding of best design principles and responsive UI techniques.

• Experience using Git, CI/CD workflows, and working within Agile development environments.

• Awareness of mobile application security best practices.

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently within a hybrid team setup.

• Experience with creating designs in Figma and implementing them is a plus

• Bonus: Experience integrating NLP models in mobile applications
